I chose to work on creating a linux server because i thought that it would be intersting to learn more about linux. I would like to learn more about linux because it is free and there will be a time in my life when i will not want to pay for computer software. During the course of this project, i would like to be able to set up a linux based server and perhaps host an online video game through a LAN network. If time permits i may also set up a few different versions of linux and set up a small network. When I started the project, I did know how to create a disk from a .iso disk image but not much else. Because everything in linux is done from the command line, i need to learn some of the basic commands to navigate the operating system. I did find this website with many different linux commands:
